Trainer's Additional Information
Rates: $50 per hour, private; $25 per hour, private; $35 each per hour, semi-private. Weekly. Schedule usually open for new students.
Focus: Time and learning to think like a horse.
Horse: School or personal horse can be used in the lesson.
Tack Up & Tack Down: Required, but some exceptions, depending on situation.
Background: I have ridden and shown for 30 years and have been a professional for 17 years. I have competed and have had students compete regionally, nationally, and locally. I have also judged and given numerous clinics throughout New England. I have had horses receive zone awards from the AHSA, year end awards from the NEHC, MHC, and the AHSA. My students have been ribbon winners in MECTA. I trained the Reserve Champion Area I Rider in 1994 as well as the winner of the Masters Trophy at King Oak. I have also coached the teams from MECTA at the team championships in Gladstone, NJ for 2 years. One of my students was the reserve high point rider at the team championships in Gladstone, 1994. Was the youngest rider to win Zone 1 Medal Finals and also only rider to win consecutively; Coached 6th place finishes at AHSA Medal Finals; Won numerous ribbons throughout the country.
