Clay has shown horses to 3 World Championships, several AQHA champions and many superior event awards. He has coached youth riders to 2 World Championships and numerous top ten finalists. Clay has been an AQHA judge for 15 years, having judged the AQHA World Championship show 2 times, the All-American QH Congress, the 1996 AJQHA World show, the Quarterama in Ontario, Canada, and most of the nations top shows and futurities.
