Description Here at Rancho Las Cascadas we provide a unique riding experience for everyone, anything from a gentle stroll along the lake, cantering up the side of a hill, galloping across open countryside, crossing rivers, swimming with the horses in the lake or traversing rocky paths to the top of a mountain.
Beginner, intermediate, advanced or expert all are welcome at Rancho Las Cascadas. The terrain and horses are excellent for any of these levels and we split the riders accordingly in small groups.
Typical Day
In addition to wonderful horseback riding through diverse countryside, guests also enjoy our included daily cultural tours to incredible places like Teotihuacan with the famous pyramids of the sun and the moon, the awesome colonial town of San Miguel de Allende for some great shopping, the colorful market of Jilotepec and much more.
Or you just may want to take some time to enjoy our fantastic real swimming pool. Heated with solar panels and with an integrated jacuzzi it is one of the favorite spots to spend a lovely afternoon as well as enjoy an early morning swim.

Meals
The finest local ingredients are innovatively combined by our highly skilled chefs to create authentic Mexican, as well as international cuisine. A rich and varied breakfast awaits you each morning, served on the veranda, overlooking the picturesque valley below.
Lunch is served under the big oak tree or as a picnic when riding. And every evening, a gourmet four-course dinner with wine is served in our stylish, rustically-designed dining room.
Sleeping The guest rooms are individually decorated in typical Mexican country style. Much attention is given to the finer details creating a seamless combination of comfort and style.
Our standard rooms are situated in the Main house and in the Pueblito. Each one has its own dressing area and en-suite facilities. The deluxe rooms are spacious in the Main House with access to the patio and 3 rooms in the Pueblito with view to the corral have an additional lounge. We also have two detached lodges our Cascitas that offer maximum privacy and space. Each has its own shaded veranda and seating outside, while inside you have a lounge area, work space and Internet connection.

Regions The ranch is open all year round. All year long, even in the Summer, the average temperature at midday is in the mid 70°F(around 22°C). June – October, is the time of a lush green countryside with blue skies and crisp mountain air. November – May, is the dry season, without a drop of rain, presents itself with golden fields and you can enjoy the same pleasant temperatures. Sometimes nights can be a bit chilly, but daytime temperatures are perfect for riding any time of the year.
