Malone Quarter Horses' passion started in 1995 in beautiful Orange County, CA, today they have a small and select band of broodmares located both in California and in Texas, also known as Quarter Horse Country. Their broodmare band consists of own daughters of such legendary and influential stallions as Zippo Pine Bar, A Sudden Impulse, Hotrodders Jet Set, Sonny Dee Bar and The Invester. Their mares have been carefully chosen not just for their proven pedigrees but also for their correct conformation, wonderful dispositions, and ability to produce the outstanding movement much needed in the show ring. Choosing a stallion for their mares is a much enjoyed but carefully planned process where they examine show records, get records, magic crosses, and more. By taking the extra time to examine the mares and stallions weaknesses and strengths they are able to produce a futurity prospect that is more likely to be successful in today's competitive show pen.
