2009 World Championship Show Sale
Stability Returning to Market November 16, 2009 - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Increases in average
price and gross sales in all sessions showed that stability is returning to
the horse market following significant decreases in all segments of the horse
industry. The highest selling item at the 2009 sale was the original Orren Mixer
painting of Wimpy P-1 at $120,000. The painting was consigned by Reynolds Moreland
III and was purchased by Hendrik and Lettie Smeding of Snell Valley Ranch in
California.
